Hi, I’m Maria. I’m 14 and I live in Vila Nova de Cerveira, in Portugal. I love using the Internet. In my opinion, it has a lot of advantages. People can research, chat with friends, listen to music, watch videos and play games.
But there are also some disadvantages. For example, there are chat rooms where people arrange meetings with strangers.
I like to use the internet safely. Mostly I use it to communicate with friends who don’t live in Portugal and to get help do my homework.

But it also has it’s bad sides. The internet can be dangerous. For example HI5, although I also use it, and also have a profile, I think that there are people who give to much personal information about themselves. This information can be used by bad people.

The advantages of using electronic communication are many: you can communicate with people in distant places, you can add images, films and music to the document you want to send, you can erase and rewrite documents without using a rubber or a correction pen and many other things.

The Internet has a lot of advantages it also has a lot of disadvantages!
I have used the Internet for three years. I use it to do works for school, to speak with friends and also for hi5!
But the Internet has a lot of disadvantages. For example, there are people who do not give their true data and who arrange meetings for bad purposes!
The Internet also has many disadvantage because of the viruses that get into the computer and can damage it.
The Internet is very good for everybody who knows how to use it responsibly.

More and more people have Internet access.

We must watch out for the websites we use every day.

I use the Internet every day and I think that the Internet is a great way of communication. Through the Internet we can communicate with friends from other countries, who are in the other side of the world. It is also good to get ourselves informed about what happens in the world and in order that we investigate on the subjects that we are interested in or when teachers ask us to investigate on a certain fact. Internet turns everything easier.
Since everything has its disadvantages, one of them is that when we log in to chat rooms, very often we do not know with whom we speak. Many people believe in others they do not know and give them personal information. This results in kidnapping, rape or other problems.
In spite of this I am an addict of the Internet and I think that it is the biggest way of communication of the world!

I can say that the Internet for me is quite essential. I like the Internet very much because I can do countless things with it.
On the Internet, I like playing games online, I like surfing new sites in order to know more things. I also use MSN to talk with my friends. I do not like chat rooms because I don’t know who is on the other side.
I also download a lot of things: documents, texts, pictures, music and films.
I can’t live without the Internet.

The advantages are that we can speak with our friends and family, we can do inquiries, we can play, we can download music, films and documents…….. and many things more. The worst is when people arrange meetings with strangers. Also for the children who log in to unsuitable websites is the internet very dangerous.

The computer and the Internet was a big and important discovery for humanity because people became able do many things they couldn’t do before: talking with people who live in others countries or continents in a faster and more effective way; researches about every the kind of things; see images and videos about the many different places; buy food, clothes, shoes, books and other things. People can book tickets for concerts, trips, cinema and we can download videos and music. People also are able to listen to music and many other things.
Nowadays people almost don't need to go out because with the Internet they can do everything at home.
The Internet has many advantages but I think that some people don't know how to use it. As we can see in TV, some kids and teenagers disappear because they talk and meet strangers.
In order to this doesn’t happen, people shouldn't tell their phone number, their address, their true name or give any personal information. They also shouldn't arrange meetings with strangers nor show personal photos.

The advantage of the internet is that we can communicate better with our friends and our family. We also can play some games, listen to music, watch videos and a lot more. The worst of the internet is the existence of improper websites for children. There are websites that explore violence, crime or paedophilia.
The internet is a very advanced technology. Today, everybody has got internet at home or everywhere else as long as you have a mobile connection.
Even in terms of studies and researching, whatever you can find in a book, you can find it in the internet too.

Today we are observing a great evolution of ways that allow to us a bigger speed and efficiency in communication.
Nowadays the advantages of the electronic communication are the immediate answer in the inquiry of any subject, the share of information for everyone and the communication with people even from other countries. This promotes the knowledge of new customs and new cultures which makes people more learned.
The disadvantages are the addictions of users who lose control, the easy transmission of information to wrong people, the several users who get more and more closed in their world, the distance between the human being that leads to an increase of the social damaging phobias for the good functioning of the society. Another problem is when friends sail the Internet for pure entertainment and in substitution for real socialization, like going to the cinema, travelling or even practicing sports. This fact takes to the lack of physical exercise, which in turn leads to the increase of the tax of obesity.
